Interceptive
Orthodontics

Early interceptive treatment to guide jaw growth and prevent future complications. The sooner we act, the simpler the treatment.

Why consult during childhood?

Interceptive orthodontics aims to correct jaw growth abnormalities and guide the eruption of permanent teeth while a child is still actively growing. This is the most favorable window for intervention, as the developing bones respond readily to gentle orthodontic forces.

A first consultation is recommended around âge 6 to 7, when the first permanent teeth begin to come through. This does not necessarily mean that treatment will be started right away, but it allows a thorough assessment that can identify potential issues early on.
